The fourth essential nutrient is protein. Protein helps to build and repair tissues in the baby. Good sources of protein include lean meats, fish, poultry, eggs, and beans.

The fifth essential nutrient is omega-3 fatty acids. Omega-3 fatty acids are important for the babyโ€™s brain development. Good sources of omega-3 fatty acids include fatty fish, such as salmon, mackerel, and tuna, as well as flaxseeds, walnuts, and canola oil.

Finally, it is important for pregnant women to get enough vitamins and minerals. Vitamins and minerals are important for the babyโ€™s growth and development. Good sources of vitamins and minerals include a variety of fruits and vegetables, whole grains, nuts, and legumes.

Pregnancy is a special time for any woman. Ensuring that she is getting all the essential nutrients she needs is an important part of having a healthy pregnancy.
